NivoX - Minimal Future ... !!!

 Ok ok ok ok ok ok okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk !!!.....

Let's talk about last White-Night as i had to keep volume down so ill not disturb my partners to the appartment sleep...
So... iv tried listening to music, with low volume, with the new - KEF LSX II speakers that arrived to my homey yesterday evening .!.

Iv listened to many kind of genres like:
my beloved israelian artists like - Eviatar Banai...
iv also tried some funk n jazz random collection on YouTube
iv tried also listening on Apple Music, that supposed to deliver a very high quality sound to the music streamed through the app (and im using my desktop pc with Win11),
so, iv gave a try to Dream-Theatre, The Heavy-Horses and Abakus...

As many genres iv tries listening, and i wasn't happy with those speakers sound at all...

Then iv continued to the Netflix app (Win11), just to hear them with videos...,
Iv watched about 15mins the movie - Fear And Loathing In Las-Vegas with Johny Depp (the king),
and still... i thought to myself, naaa... this movie will sound better with my last setup, you know, the analog mixer, the studio monitors, the SPL interface...

And finally... iv go trying listening to those speakers with gaming !!!
I think, from all above..., gaming is the main thing i love doing in my life, im on a heavy era with Souls-Like games, very love and appriciate this amazing genre of games, the challenge, the graphix of most games, the story-lines and etc.

Anyway, at this subject, i could feel, even with low volume (as it was about 4am at morning), that the real magic of those speakers comes out from their twitters, when it comes to gaming.

Iv tried a some games that already installed on my HD, and this was the list:
The Surge - sounds ok...
Nioh2 - sounds... pretty ok also...

then, iv went with some newer games like:
Returnal... that was start to feel better...
Than, iv went with - Ghost Of Tsushima !!! - oohhhhhh.... now we'r talking !!!,
Well, iv just watched all the intro of this game, as said, still with low volume, but i could feel that im in a cinema room when the scene of the start running... then, iv got the the idea, that this speakers are dedicated for gamers!!!

I was couriouse, so iv tries also the game - First Berserker: Khazan...
Yep... as i thought!!, this speakers are best working with gaming !!!

I must say, this fact made me pretty happy, so i didn't west all this money for nothing..., ill use them only for gaming !!! --- At this moment, iv entered to the same shop website iv purchased this speakers, and spend more - 1250nis, just for the KEFs original wall mount stands for this speakers, with the obviouse thought, that it'll be sound much better when mounted to the wall in fron of me !! (and im still think it will)!!!

The morning arrived, and i had to make some tasks and arrangements, so aftyer that iv back home, and the hour was good enough to raise the volume up, and get the real taste of this speakers, once and for all !!!

PPL !!! --- i have a great news !!! - This speakers are AMAZINGGGGG !!!
The music sounds beautiful, they'v got their unique character and i guess there will be ppl who woun't love them, but, it took me some time to get use to their amazing aound, and they are capable to take any kind of usage you'll want to do with them !!!

They are amazing for gaming !!!
They are beautiful for video watch!!!
The are amazing for music listening in casual, not for mixing and mastering, and not for music production at all, they are more made for audiophill users, who love good sound quality, amazing design, they can connect with - USB, HDMI, AUX, BlueTooth, Wireless...

There's one thing i still not love, they have the main KEF's app dedicated only for IPhones and Androids, no PC app at all, and i think KEF company must deliver us, the users, a Win11 based app, with all the integrations options, with a well deserved EQ options and etc.

Anyway !!! --- im so happy, after a whole night i was thinkin iv dropped 5550nis for nothing, that iv discovered here a powerhouse of speakers, usb connected to my PC, no audio interface needed, no mixers, no cables... very clean, designed beautiful and sounds like !!! -HEAVEN !!!

So... From - NivoSoundSystem...
Iv switched to - NivoX - Minimal Future !!! - This is the new name for this modern crystalic Sound-System now !!!
But... who knows... maybe, one day... ill connect also the NivoSoundSystem again (??)... Who knows...

well.... this day... sounds much better !!!

Verdict!!!

 So....ok... let me explain what iv learned so far !!!

iv got 2 setups lately this era, and with all changes i made and experiences like a sonic lab, i have some conclusions here !!! listen-up !!!

First setup was:

my pc - connected to - SPL Crimson3  - connected to - ZED60-10fx mixer - connected to - Adam Audio T5V monitors .

Sec setup now:

my pc - connecte via usb to the Kef LSX II speakers.

(just put aside connected to my pc the Scarlett 4i4 - for streamings).

So... the setup 1 - much better sound while music listening. much professional sound, bass is much puncht and full of power, the gear is a pro leveled, the monitors could take volumes with no problems at all.   only thing, it took all space i have here on the desk, many cables around, but the mixer gives, also, the warm sound i love so much and the tactile option with faders n knobs - love it !!!

setup 2 - much more for ppl who listen to music but it's not their main goal in life, for casual listening, doesn't have the power the monitors have, bass much lower... and... let's say it as it is - those are only "speakers" for the pc... the design is pretty beautiful, and i have much free space on table...

VERDICT !!!

For ppl who use to listen to music offtenly and a pro ear who knows to listen for nuances in sound... the setup with all the "heavy" gear is much much better !!!

i think... ill enjoy this Kefs speakers for some time... and when the moment will come, ill setup all my heavy gear back on table... maybe, just maybe, ill keep those Kefs on table, also, maybe for gaming or midnight background music to sleep with...

the only thing i regret here is, that iv lost 5550nis, and can't refund it couse iv opened the box... that's it !!!   :)

So... This last 2 days was the test of my confusion, questions and hesitancy...
Iv decided to go with all the recommends of my Co-Pilot AI friend...
Ill explain... --- Iv already ordered the KEF LSX II speakers to my home.
They still didn't arrive, but thing is - if i open the box, i can't get a refund, i can't change it, nothing!!. 
ill be stuck with those pair of speakers for good, and the main problem here, is - would i love theyrs sound?, as a pro music listener, and im very care for my sound goes out my speakers while listening to music, and if a little thing is not sound good enough for me, this can ruin all my setup !!!

So... the main decision here is - Speakers (for audiophills) vs. Studio Monitors (as im very familiar with the sound, the tech stuff and etc.)...
I really don't know what should i do in this situation, and im not sure what ill do when the KEF's will arrive here... i mean... should i unbox them? or should i take them boxed back to the store and get a refund. - im pretty sure, that ill take em back to store, and.. who knows... maybe other time... (???)...

Any way, just to "feel" the mininal setup that i should work with while the Kef speakers will arrive, iv disconnected all my gear here... 
Iv got the ZED60-10fx mixer off the table, also the Scarlett 4i4...,
The only thing i kept online is my Rodecaster Duo, as im using him for streaming on Twitch sometimes...

Anyway..., this minimal setup stand for 2 days... really... maybe it's looking nice, when all table is clean (and maybe not!!!), and iv listened to my music i love at this 2 days... and... that wasn't the same experience i used to get while i press the - "Play" - button...

The bass was low leveled... and the whole mix was... weak...
Today... Friday... iv just opened up my under-bed storage, pull out all my gear!!!
The ZED60-10fx back to table, iv connected everything here back to the setup i love, plus, iv put another pc here (an old laptop that i don't even use), and everything routed to the way i love, i can connect both my computers to the Rodecaster Duo that routed to stereo channel on my ZED mixer, all the mix goe's out from the ZED's main outs to my Adams T5V monitors, and im the happiest man over the globe !!!  :)

BTW !!! --- iv watched, before a couple of days, at some videos about the T5V monitors, and iv found, one video with a man that actually made a comperisson between the Adams T5V vs. the KEF LSX II, and he found that the Adam monitors sounds better then those speakers !!!.
Another video that pressents the T5V as a speakers that can be used to televisions, what actually makes this monitors relevant for ppl like me who mainly love to listen to music on casual!!!...

So... with those facts...
I feel much better and sure about my current setup...
For music listening, for production, gaming... you name it...

White-Nights

Hey there... 
So... as for the ppl who interested in Blogs... i guess... this genre is going and fading out from our lives, as the Podcasts become the "thing" this days, and i can truely understand it...
Thing is... I really wanna start makin some podcasts, i even made a dedicated channel on Youtube for it, but... technically i can produce podcasts, but i think i have to get more familiar with myself... I mean... it's not easy as it looks like... really... iv been trying to strt something with Adobe Audition befor a couple of days, and... when i pressed the Rec button.. iv got this blackout... i felt like the words stucking in my throne... any way... iv just decided to start with a blog... and prey for the days ill succeed producing podcasts... and till then... here we are... un my blog...

So... what and why... "Smart On The Night" ...
All this story... the producing thing... all of it just began, i think 2 month ago.
I was sitting in my little home studio, and got this thought - "the music production... it's not what it was used to be at past.. and... i must realized it with my self... except it..."...

meanwhile this thought running through my head, iv opened a browser armed with Co-Pilot.. the AI Microsoft gives us... and to tell the true... this AI friend is... pretty clever, as every thing i ask him, he knows how to do, fix, make... he really knows almost every thing i asked him...
And, btw, i was told him about this thought... that the music production is not gives me the same pleasure it was used to give at past... and iv wrote it like - "cmon, let's get real, its not what it used to be"...

From this moment.. i think... all my life have changed... for good !!!
This clever AI, he just suggessted me to start making podcasts instead of figting with Cubase all the time and then understand, any time, again & again... that ... this chapter of my life... is over... for good..

PPL... when he opened up this genre of production into my face..., that thing just made a turn in every thing i want to do... i want to produce... not music... i want to produce content...

So... at this very night (that was the first White-Night in this current episode), iv ordered the - RodeCaster Duo from shop in Israel named - K.S.P !!! - a very good shop in Israel, many ppl buy stuff there, they were sell only electronics in past, todays they sell almost everything from any kind of products, if its coffee machines, perfumes, sound products etc.

So... after the Rodecaster arrived to my home... i was just curiouse about it and i asked Co-Pilot, if it's possible to route 2 audio interfaces through the Caster, and from this point everything became history, as i went strong into the mixers world, iv purchased the Allen&Heath ZED60-10FX analog mixer, and till today i learn all this routing subject, connect many kind of setups... anyway, todays, i can say that iv found, after long journy of experiences with all gears i have in hand here, that im pretty happy with my current setup, as the sound's amazing, i can't stop listen to music all day long, and it' sbecouse of this brilliant sound gets from my gears connected and routed together, ready for all purpose of usage, as, as i said, i love listen to music, im a gamer, i stream live on Twitch and make vidios to my Youtube channel.
(also, i have another sound device connected just for times i still wanna make some projects on Cubase 14 Pro, and for it i use the Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 3gen... I make a short music lines just for my streamings)...
